I needed something to put my paperback book collection in. This was perfect. Assembly was fine except for the back panels . . . there’s got to be a better way! But the finished product looks great and held all of my books – probably 400 to 500 in all – with some room to spare.

The product is easily put together by anyone with limited assembly experience. I bought some book shelves from a different company during the same period, and this one from furniturewebmall.com . Found by comparison that the media storage rack was so much easier to assemble. The instructions are great, the pre-assembly was done thoughtfully on the part of the company, and a single person can easily assemble it without much difficulty in very little time. Pieces fit easily and I could assemble it without causing damage to the product (because of unclear directions, putting things together backwards, or having to force pieces together due to poor manufacturing, etc.). While this media rack is a bit more expensive than others, I do think the quality, durability and attractiviness off-set the price. I now have four of these and will definitely seek this product out when my collection demands it.

Just received this and put it together that same day. It took about 6 hours to put together, but I took lots of breaks. This is a very heavy unit and it was a lot taller than I thought it would be, it is over 3 feet tall. It has loads of storage and seems to be very useful. Not too sure I like the top load though, because I was planning on putting a lamp on top and now I can't because it opens from the top, but I guess that means less clutter also. I think this is a really nice piece and others are really interested in getting this same piece for their houses. Not enough glue was included in this set and I used the wrong glue for the wrong pieces, but it wasn't a problem. I recommend getting some extra crazy glue to finish up this piece.

We were looking for a media cabinet to store all of our Dvd’s, etc. My daugther brought back a Skymiles catalogue after one of her trips. In it I found a cabinet that would work. On Amazon, it was slightly less expensive. Once delevered, it did take the better part of 6 hours to build it. The directions were clear, and everything was in the box to put it together. I would suggest using additional wood glue in areas that use dowl pins to help support the cabinet, especially the end pieces. Once done, it litterally swallowed every Dvd, CD, and video tape we had, and there is still more room to add more (Yea!). I would highly recommend this unit. Just take your time when building it, and it should last many years.

Looks nice, but I found the door shelves to be a bit fragile. Vowed that this would be the last piece of furniture I ever buy that has to be assembled. Seemed to take forever, but I’m not that experienced.

This office chair is a bit firm but other than that, it is a good chair.
